Creative Director and Graphic Designer Breck Campbell will discuss his process of crafting a compelling design/artist portfolio. This workshop will benefit visual artists of all stripes -- graphic designers, photographers, UI/UX designers, illustrators, et al. -- who are interested in pursuing creative work professionally.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Breck Campbell is a multi disciplinary Creative Director and Graphic Designer. His career to date has focused on everything from User Interface and Experience Design for AAA and mobile video games (Star Trek, Bioshock, HomeFront & DarkHeroes), title sequence design for feature films & television series (Murdoch Mysteries, Durham County, ReGenesis, The Banquet, Poor Boy's Game, The Poet). Previous employers include Technicolor, Big VIking Games, Digital Extremes and Chapters/Indigo, and past clients include Paramount, CTV, CBC and Alliance Atlantis, in addition to dozens of entrepreneurs and businesses across Southern Ontario and abroad. Campbell has taught courses in design and film & television at York/Sheridan and Humber College respectively, and is looking forward to sharing best practices and insights with London's emerging creatives.
